What can you expect from an Evening Cruise in Amsterdam with Blue Boat?: During the Evening Cruise, you sail for 90 minutes through Amsterdam after sunset. You see the stately 17th-century warehouses glide past and the illuminated bridges reflecting in the water. The illuminated Magere Brug in particular is a feast for the eyes. Through the Personal Audio System on board, you listen to the audio story in one of 20 available languages, from the origins of the canals to modern-day Amsterdam. As an Amsterdam family business, we show you the city at its most beautiful moment.
What is included in the Evening Cruise?: The Evening Cruise consists of a 90-minute evening cruise, with daily departures on 364 days a year, and free use of the Personal Audio System on board. Wheelchair-accessible departures are also available. On board you will find free earphones, but we ask you to bring your own earphones or headphones where possible. That way, together we do our bit for the environment.
Would you prefer to sit on the rear deck? Then you can also simply listen to the audio story on your own phone. The instructions are on the table. You only scan a QR code, so there is nothing to download.
In which languages is the audio tour of the Evening Cruise available?: The audio tour of the Evening Cruise is available in 20 languages: Dutch, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Japanese, Turkish, Polish, Czech, Croatian, Indonesian, Cantonese, Korean, Thai and Hindi.
Where do I board for the Evening Cruise?: The Evening Cruise departs exclusively from the Blue Boat jetty at Stadhouderskade 501, opposite the Hard Rock Cafe. Make sure you are at the jetty at least 15 minutes before departure.
Are Blue Boat’s Evening Cruise departures wheelchair accessible?: Blue Boat is the only canal cruise provider in Amsterdam with wheelchair-accessible boats. These depart exclusively from the jetty at Stadhouderskade 501, opposite the Hard Rock Cafe. The available time slots are 7.00 pm and 9.00 pm. Please reserve in advance and indicate when booking that there is a wheelchair in your group, so that we can prepare everything properly.
Where can I buy tickets for the Evening Cruise?: Tickets can be booked online via the Blue Boat website. You receive instant confirmation and do not need to print your tickets. Simply show your ticket on your phone at our ticket office. Tickets are also available at the kiosk, but booking online avoids queues and guarantees you a place on the boat. Please note: at the ticket office you pay the full price and the kiosk closes at 10.00 pm. Do you have a promo code? Then make a separate booking for each person.
What can I eat and drink during the Evening Cruise?: Looking for a cruise in Amsterdam with food? On the Evening Cruise you can add a snack box to your booking online, with crisps, popcorn, stroopwafels, nuts and a water or soft drink of your choice. Or opt for the wine and cheese offer, including a glass of wine, a luxury nut mix and regional cheese. At the kiosk you can also buy snacks and drinks beforehand.
