Rock the Boat combines a 75-minute cruise with a two-course dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. During the cruise, you sail past historic merchant houses, the Amstel and the famous Magere Brug. Through the Personal Audio System on board, you listen to the audio story in one of 20 available languages. Before or after the cruise, you dine at the Hard Rock Cafe, conveniently located opposite Blue Boat, enjoying a two-course dinner with Hard Rock’s signature dishes.

What is included in Rock the Boat?

Rock the Boat includes a 75-minute cruise with an audio story in one of 20 available languages and a two-course dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe, consisting of a main course and dessert with a free drink (soft drink, coffee or tea).

What is on the menu at the Hard Rock Cafe?

At the Hard Rock Cafe, you choose from dishes such as the iconic Original Legendary Burger, the plant-based Moving Mountains Burger, the Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad, the Grilled Chicken Sandwich or the Tupelo Chicken Platter. For dessert, you enjoy a warm brownie with chocolate sauce and whipped cream, served with a free drink of your choice.

Where do I board for Rock the Boat?

The departure point for the cruise is the Blue Boat jetty at Stadhouderskade 501, opposite the Hard Rock Cafe. The Hard Rock Cafe is directly opposite the jetty, so you can easily take your seat before or after your cruise. Check your ticket to see which part you have booked first. On arrival, the Hard Rock Cafe team makes sure you are seated as quickly as possible, close to your chosen time.

Is Rock the Boat wheelchair accessible?

Yes, Rock the Boat is wheelchair accessible. You can choose from the time slots at 10.30 am, 12.00 pm, 2.00 pm, 3.30 pm and 5.00 pm. When booking, please mention in the notes field that someone with a wheelchair is joining. Please bear in mind that a maximum of 3 wheelchairs can be on board at the same time, so be sure to let us know. Do you still have questions? Great customer service from the ticket office staff and great tour with info on sights as you go via free earphones (multi-languages). Plus you can stand out at the back of the boat for photos. Nice and steady piloting through the canals. Great for adults & children (kids get an activity pack). Highly recommend.

Amsterdam is a magical place and this is a great way to see it. The food was good, the drinks were plentiful, and this served as a treat for my wife and I after a long day off exploring on foot.

This cruise was well worth the money. We were on boat for an hour and a half. We went in an evening trip which was beautiful with all the lights. We got to see parts of Amsterdam we had missed, but will definitely be returning so we can go and visit these also. Boat was lovely and warm and drinks were reasonably priced. Staff very friendly.
